From 1950 to the present day, Formula 1 is one of the car races that everyone between the ages of 7 and 70 has followed and will continue to follow with interest. We have put together a list of the drivers who have won the most championships from the beginning to the present day.

Sebastian VETTEL (4 Championships)

Vettel in the list of the best of Formula 1 with 4 championships . The driver who has won the Formula 1 Championship 4 times in a row. He was born in Germany in 1987. When he was 8 years old, he started his racing curiosity with karting. When he was only 14, he won the Junior Monaco Cart Series and made a name for himself.

In 2007, when he was only 17 years old, he won 18 out of 20 races in the German Formula BMV competition to win the championship. This championship attracted the attention of Formula 1 and Michael Schumacher.
In 2005, Vettel competed in the Formula 3 series and finished 5th. He was also the best rookie driver of the tournament.

In 2006, Vettel took his success one step further and increased his graphic by reaching 2nd place in the European series. In the same year, he became the third driver of the Sauber team, which was rebranded, and the youngest driver in F1.

Sebastian Vettel also became the youngest F1 driver to score points for the BMW Sauber team. Vettel’s Formula 1 records have always been based on being the youngest.

In short, between 2007 and 2011 he won and dominated F1 races with championships. In fact, it is wonderful that in 2011 he guaranteed and declared his championship 5 weeks before the end.
He is currently racing for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1.

Alain PROST, The Crazy Driver of Formula 1 (4 Championships)

Born in France in 1955. With 4 world championships in Formula 1, he is one of the 5 drivers who have won this trophy the most.

Prost won the F1 World Championship in 1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993. In total, he took part in 199 F1 races and achieved 51 victories.

In 1981 he joined the Renault team and finished the F1 Grand Prix race in first place. In 1987 he moved to the Mc Laren team and won 3 world championships. However, Prost could not hold on here and moved to Ferrari in 1990.
He left Ferrari in 1991 and joined the Williams team in 1993. Here he retired after winning his last world championship.

Alain PROST was best known by the nickname “The Professor”.

Juan Manuel FANGIO (5 Championships)

Born on 24 June 1911, he was originally from Argentina. He dominated the first 10 years of F1. He was interested in cars and car repairs from a young age. He won the Formula 1 World Championship 5 times in 1951-1954-1955-1956 and 1957. His record was broken by Michael Schumacher.

He drove for Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz. For 46 years his record was unbroken. He is still the driver who has won the most races in Formula 1 with 46.15 per cent.

He is the only driver to have won the Argentine Grand Prix 4 times. After his retirement he was elected Honorary President of Mercedes Benz Argentina. He died in 1995.

Formula Star Lewis HAMILTON (7 Championships)

 

Born in 1985. He takes over from Michael SCHUCMAHER and continues on his way. He continues to drive for Mercedes AMG F1. With the 7 world championships he has won so far, he shares the record with Michael SCHUMACHER.
He won his first championship in 2008. For the 2nd championship he had to wait until 2014. After 2014, however, he finished 6 out of the next 7 seasons with the championship.

In 2016 he narrowly missed 1st place. He also states in all interviews that he has no plans to retire.

Legendary Formula One Driver Michael Schumacher (7 Championships)

Schumacher leads the list of the best drivers in Formula 1 with 7 championships. Born in Germany in 1969. He is the first German driver to win the F1 World Championship. His place at the top of the list of the best drivers in history has made him and his country a household name around the world.
He was nicknamed the Rain Master for his mastery of wet tracks, especially in the rain. He has been voted the most popular and influential name in Formula One.

He started out in Formula One with the Jordan team, then joined the Benetton Formula team in 1992, winning the first race of his career in 1992.

With the same team, he won the F1 championship twice in a row in 1994 and 1995. After being silent until 2000, he won the championship 5 times between 2000 and 2004. He retired after the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix.

In 2013 he fell into a coma after a skiing accident in the French Alps. He is still receiving treatment and his condition remains uncertain. However, it has been reported that he is unable to use even basic functions.
