Who is Barnabas Who Heralded the Coming Of the Prophet (s.a.v)?
Barnabas was born in the city of Salamis to a Cypriot Jewish family and is one of the most valuable figures of the fresh period of Christianity. Although his real name was Joseph, the Apostles gave him the name Barnabas.
When he went to Jerusalem to study, Barnabas, who met Jesus (pbuh) and saw his miracles, became a Christian.
According to various narrations, he was one of the Apostles, and according to another narration, he was one of the seventy important disciples chosen by Jesus Christ (pbuh). The Jewish-Christian faith recognises Barnabas as one of the apostles.

It is not for nothing that the person of Barnabas, who according to the rumours is an apostle or not, but a very important name in the Christian world, is mentioned in many places in the Ahd-i Cedid.
Although Christian priests today deny the existence of such a gospel, the gospel of Barnabas was accepted by the church of Alexandria until 325 AD. This proves the existence of this gospel. However, after the year 325, the Council of Nicaea, which was convened under the presidency of King Constantine, banned most copies of the Bible, especially Barnabas, along with 2000 clergymen.

He sees that there is a statement that I am writing this gospel in the 48th year of Barnabas. So could it be ms 48… He is also not allowed to complete the translation after page 19. When he translated the last page, it was written that Barnabas prepared 4 copies of this gospel, 1 of which was in the Roman church, 1 in Tarsus, the other in Syrias and the last one in the vicinity of Jerusalem.
Prof Kocagil has seen in the translations that the son of Prophet Abraham (as) was Ismail, the sacrifice incident, the glad tidings of our Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh), that Jesus (as) is not a lord but a servant of God and that there are statements that reject the trinity belief.
